![]() The problem was caused by my wall socket. Turn it down 1-2 dB (decibels) and talk into the mic again to see if it helps. Find the gain or input knob on your amplifier, interface, or mic. In the vast majority of cases, the gain setting is to blame for static noise. ![]() I tried everything you guys suggested but the solution was waaay simpler. Lower the gain on your amp, audio interface, or mic to remove static. But we like our high end, heavy power load stuff, so we need to figure out how to fix this without downgrading our stuff. A lot of people here found solutions like downgrading their interfaces or trying the 3.5mm thing but all your doing is lowering the quality of converters and preamps in your devices so they don't require as much power as our good stuff, and then their noise goes away. I'm starting to really think it's my house. I also got the same noise when firing up Far Cry 4, and various noises in other games. This noise was also audible when taking the headset of and placing my ear inside the case, it seamed to come from the components. I've changed my speakers, interfaces, apc ups back ups, and all kinds of other configurations. This time the noise was a high-pitched static/EMI kind of noise. I have went so far as getting a new computer 3 times. I do recording and I'm all into computers and stuff and I cannot figure this out.
